IMCA Competence assessments
QSTAR ROV Training is an IMCA Training Establishment Member as part of the Remote Systems & ROV Division. The training provided by QSTAR and consequently the assessment of competence procedures for gaining higher competence levels are designed based on the IMCA guidelines.
Competence Portfolio
The acquirement of proofs of various natures that demonstrate the personal skills and competences of an attendee to a new ROV position will be collected in an organized manner according to the Competence Portfolio that QSTAR is providing in the following documents, as part of it’s own Competence Management System (CMS). The system is dedicated to freelance workers, company employees or applied as a company CMS in compliance with a prior agreement between parts.

R20 – ROV Superintendent (SUPT)
R01 – ROV Supervisor (SUPV)
R02 – Senior ROV Pilot Technician (SPT)
R03 – ROV Pilot Technician Grade I (PT1)
R04 – ROV Pilot Technician Grade II (PT2)
